Who's Rachel, Anyway?
Hi! I'm Rachel, a 5'9", 31-year-old writer with brown hair, blue eyes, and an enormous brain. My hair is 25" long. I have a 36-inch inseam (which makes it very difficult to find women's jeans). I type 110 wpm. I am a vegetarian. I am also a neat-freak, but some days you wouldn't guess it.

I like Grape Nuts and chocolate milk and pepper jack cheese and Bud Light and funny friends. I hate stupid people.

I live in Minneapolis and work as a senior technical writer at a medical device company. I have both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in English (Rhetoric and Applied Writing).

My dream is to have a farm: some acreage and lots of animals—including ducks, lots of dogs, and miniature donkeys. This will happen one day.

I have two dogs— mutt-mutt-wuss-dog Lucky (Little Chief Runs and Hides) and Irish Setter Finny (Big Chief Can't Stand When Others Get Attention). They fight and play all the time, and irritate me almost constantly. They also keep me busier than I ever wanted to be, and I love them dearly.

Worst Qualities?  I'm an arrogant, impatient, demanding, egomaniacal, and anti-social control-freak. Oh—and sometimes I drink straight from the jug. I'm also pretty sarcastic. I am an INTJ. To make up for my many, many personal defects, I take really good care of my dogs.

Love? The Twins!, The Simpsons, Brett Favre, dogs, writing, reading, nice writer's stuff, and being outside.

Hate?  Sci-fi and stupid people.
